Kara Thomas
Published author of 4 Young Adult novels; Prep School Confidential Series, Little Monsters, The Darkest Corners, and her latest title comes out July 31st, 2018, The Cheerleaders.   Long time Long Island resident and Palmer School student. Kara was recently named  one of the 2018 Quick Picks for Reluctant Readers Selections and Nominees by YALSA.

Christine McEvilly
Alumni Christine McEvilly recent had an article published in Archival Issues Vol. 32, no. 2.

Yvonne Garrett 
Alumni Yvonne Garrett  is currently a Ph.D. student in the History & Culture program at Drew University. Yvonne was accepted into the first cohort (2017-2018) of the Early Career Workshop at the Center for Women's History @ NY Historical Society.She is also an Assistant Web Editor for IASPM-US [International Association of the Study of Popular Music-U.S.] In 2017 she presented at "Summoning the Archive" at the Institute for Public Knowledge @ NYU. Her presentation focused on "The Importance of Materiality & DIY (Self) Production in American Feminist Periodicals of the 20th and 21st Centuries."  In 2016 she also presented at " Crafting Culture: Perspectives on Censorship" Conference @ Drew Univ. Her presentation focused on "Censorship & 20th Century American Popular Music." This is in addition to a number of book and article reviews in prominent industry publications. 

Dennis Sullivan
Staring in 2016, he along with colleagues have published a collections of writings from Teens who live in Rockland County, NY. In the article, we provided a brief overview of the project.

Georgina Rivas-Martinez 
The Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC), a division of the American Library Association (ALA), announced Georgina Rivas-Martinez of the South Huntington Public Library, in South Huntington, NY as its representative in the 2019 Emerging Leader program.
