Description

Dr. Motorina brings more than 15 years of experience in clinical nursing to her teaching role. She began her career as a Critical Care registered nurse at Staten Island University Hospital. As a practicing ACNP, Dr. Motorina has worked in various settings including Anticoagulation Center and Cardiac Stress Lab. Additionally, Dr. Motorina was the coordinator of ALS clinic which is the only clinic of its kind in the Staten Island area. Her previous experience also includes clinical preceptor for the College of Staten Island. Dr. Motorina is still practicing as an ACNP working alongside nationally recognized neurologists in the hospital and office setting.

Since joining the faculty at LIU Brooklyn, Dr. Motorina educated students in graduate and undergraduate levels. She was the lead faculty for Nursing Informatics and taught: Patho-Pharmacology, Health Assessment, Gerontological Nursing, Medication Administration, Simulation and Technology, Principles of Nursing and Nursing informatics.
